This power operated trunk lift PT100 lifts your trunk and holds it shut in the down position. It is designed to mount inside the quarter panel behind your upholstery. You would need to cut a half moon slot in your trim panel. It was originally designed to work on cars up to 1937. It has been used on other models but the limitation is that it will lift 75 pounds with 14 inches of travel. That means your truck lid attaching point in the fully up position is no more that 14" to the top of your quarter panel.
