Heatshield Products is the only insulation company that offers two grades of exhaust wraps: standard and premium. Both grades withstand 1200°F continuous and 2000°F intermittent. The standard quality wrap is available with regular or black Vermiculite coating and the premium wrap has a special heat coating which allows them to take 1200°F continuous.
This roll of exhaust wrap can be fastened with Thermal-Tie, hose clamps, or wire.
Exhaust wraps help to retain heat in your exhaust system, which increases horsepower while reducing radiant heat damage. By wrapping the exhaust system it maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreases the density, and allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster!
