RPM Air-Gap 351W Intake Manifold (non-EGR) - Satin
RPM Air-Gap 351W intake manifold is designed for street and high performance 351-427 c.i.d. 351W Ford V8 applications. The Air-Gap design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power. Larger cross sectional area and a taller carb flange than #7181 for compatibility with large displacement, stroker 351W based engines. Includes bosses for nitrous and rear water crossover. Edelbrock carbs will work with Ford automatic overdrive trans (AOD) when used with Lokar bracket SRK-4000. INSTALLATION NOTES: bull; Use 12-bolt intake gasket set Edelbrock # 7220 recommended bull; Manifold height: A-5.31", B-6.19" bull; Carb pad height: 5.75" bull; Carb recommendations: Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS or Performer Series 650-800 cfm. For automatic transmissions use # 1483 and # 1491 or # 1844. bull; Port exit dimensions: 1.07" x 1.88" bull; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. bull; Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
